When I have a goal in life, the obstacles don’t get in my way. I don’t pay attention to the obstacles. I pay attention to where I want to arrive. I’ve got a goal. How do I get there? If it’s not here, how can I get there? It’s hard explain how to get to a place. Each person has a different way. And sometimes they are unique, you are not able to copy and paste so you can get there too. You have to find your own path, your own way of achieving what you want.

To understand yourself, your mind and your body it may take some years. What’s the necessity of your body, what you need for your mind, you have to find out by yourself sometimes. You’ll learn throughout the years. If you go to the gym, sometimes the training is the same for everyone, but you can see that others develop faster and easier than others. The training shouldn’t be the same. Each body has a different necessity. You may want to try to go for a marathon, but you’ll need to develop different parts of your body for that. Your friend can do that in a way, and you might have to do that in another way. And that’s okay.

When I go for a run, sometimes I don’t listen to music. I need to hear myself, I need to hear my rhythm. If I listen to music it might distract me and I lose focus of my pace, and the consistency that I’m looking for for my running. I know my rhythm, my body. If I put a song that makes my rhythm goes faster I may go faster and not achieve the goal that I want.

Life is like this. Rhythm. That is important. And you have to follow your own and what is right for you. You take decisions, when you decide to do something, you do. It may hurt many times, you may loose, but you can’t give up, just keep the rhythm. You can also start and give up. You don’t need to follow what you don’t want anymore if you don’t want. But you can’t give up just because of failures, if you have a goal that you truly want, you have to keep the rhythm and be consistent. You’ll get there.

You won’t stop at each obstacle. You will see that as a difficulty that you have to overcome. Oh, I’m feeling very anxious and it’s too hard. Stop. Think about it. Why Am I feeling this way? Where does this come from? What is the belief behind it? Is it because I believe that I never finish what I start? Is it because I’m afraid of disappointments? Disappointing my parents? That’s interesting. Start looking yourself in an intimate way. You with you. Know yourself. Don’t stop in the shallow shallow sea lala low. Go deep.

What is important for you? What is sufficient for you? The happiness with the existential life? Happiness here and now. Are you happy with life? Not with what you want, but with what you have here and now? What do you want for the future? Think about it and overcome the obstacles. You can do this.
