🎬 today we will talk about chewing only negative thoughts ✨💙 we can enter in a mental cycle that makes us only have self destruction thoughts. What do we do when this happens? Try to find the light within yourself. The problems are not the others, your troubles don’t come from the outside world and what other people are saying or telling you. The answer is always within you.

Why do we get upset? Why are we angry? Well, we have an easy answer. Because our boss is a jerk. Because our neighbour’s dog poop in our garden. Because there was so much traffic to get to work. See? The answer is simple. Is it tho? When there are so many bad things we only have one emotional response. Get upset. Get angry. This is reflection of a dynamic of a more complete answer.


Before start, I want you to remember:

2 - FEELINGS CAN INFLUENCE YOUR PERCEPTIONS


We have this huge tendency of only emphasize the exterior world. Everything that is around us influences us a lot. Recognition, critics, how people look at us, treat us, everything is the fountain of EVERYTHING for us. What about the internal world? We don’t give much attention. We think that whatever makes us feel in a certain way is a result of the exterior world. We are consistently looking and checking other people’s reaction, the weather, what people say about me, which sibling gets more attention from the parents, we’re always looking and searching.


All of this are ruining our ability of generate our wellbeing ourselves.


Let’s say you’re coming back home from dinner with friends and in your way to entering the house you drop your phone in the garden. You start looking for your phone but it’s too dark outside, so you go into your house and start looking for your phone in the house, because the lights that you have inside the house there is perfect. You’re not gonna find your phone. You’re looking with great light, great knowledge. But that’s not the place you should be looking at. You have to grab a flashlight and go outside, you have to go outside and look for it.


Sometimes we try to solve our problems looking at the exterior world because it’s easier. It’s so much brighter outside, so let’s let the exterior world fix us. That’s not the way. The way is going back to whatever you lost, whatever you feel inside, and whatever is making you upset and angry and fix it inside. Fix it with you within yourself. Your friends, family, your mom and dad can’t do it for you.

IS THE GLUE THAT ATTACHES IT TO YOU

If you want to solve your issues, separate thoughts from feelings.


If you’re always angry and upset; If don’t accept other people’s opinion and get furious in a way that you can’t discuss anymore; if someone does something nice to help you but you reject it because you think you’re always right; Try to find the light within yourself. The problems are not the others, your troubles don’t come from the outside world and what other people are saying or telling you. The answer is always within you.


If you keep chewing jalapeños, you’ll keep getting hotter and hotter. Don’t let the exterior world come and make you furious inside. Don’t let feelings control your actions. Let the peace that you do have inside take control of your mind and start dealing with the situations with a calmer and more diligent way. Otherwise, sometimes you’re not only hurting yourself, but others too.
