To think. To ponder. Planning to start thinking. These were the only ways they would arrive closer to the truth. Not screaming, not spreading negativity, defending only one side of a story. No.

A Greek and an Italian were talking. No wait, it was an American and a Mexican. A Polish and an Australian? Oh well, whoever it might have been, two people were talking and the dialogue I also don’t remember. But they were discussing important matters, they were discussing life.
They didn’t want to know who was right and who was wrong. They were not trying to persuade each other saying that their ideas were better. They didn’t want to win or lose. There was no loser or winner. There couldn’t be a winner or a loser because the only reason why they were discussing all this matter was to be able to find the truth. And the truth is the goal. Living in peace was the goal.
How could two different people be able to communicate and share their thoughts without creating a whole argument and start attacking each other? The Spanish woman and the Croatian men didn’t let their feelings and emotions take control of them. Do you know why? Because feelings aren’t reliable guides to reality.
remember:
1 - FEELINGS AREN’T RELIABLE GUIDES TO REALITY
Yes! Please! Feel it! Feel whatever your body is telling you to feel! Anger, anxiety, sadness, happiness, feel the thrill! But do not. Do not let those feelings guide your reality. Don’t let your emotions control you and make you start spreading negativity in the world. Don’t spread negativity online. Don’t let your society’s creation of hate against something or someone take control of your body. YOU, inside there. Take control of your actions.
2 - FEELINGS CAN INFLUENCE YOUR PERCEPTIONS
Yes… Your feelings, that come from a mix of different things in your brain, can foster different thoughts and make us take weird actions. They influence how you perceive things. Next time you feel like making a terrible comment or asking for something that isn’t possible, or judging someone by their appearance or speech, think twice. Stop. Calm down.
24 - WE SHOULD BE SKEPTICAL OF SOME OF THE THOUGHTS AND PERCEPTIONS THAT FEELINGS FOSTER.
At the end, the German boy and the Irish girl that I was telling you about, noticed something in common. They were able to come to a conclusion of at least one thing: discussing was the only way to come to the truth. To think. To ponder. Planning to start thinking. These were the only ways they would arrive closer to the truth. Not screaming, not spreading negativity, defending only one side of a story. No.
Only thinking and talking. Discussing. Let the discussion begin!
