"nor be a bro" finishes the sentence that started with "never nuzzle": never nuzzle nor be a bro. we couldn’t be lovers, and eventually we couldn’t even stay friends.
 
by this point, there is nothing left to imagine. the dream is over, the answer is clear, and even the friendship that once seemed like the safe ending of the story has disappeared.
 
the song also finally stops trying so hard to hide him. throughout the album, his identity was buried inside titles, anagrams, sounds and little clues. here, even "gory gory gory gory" starts sounding dangerously close to the name that inspired the whole project.
 
there are still memories everywhere.... his perfume, his smell, his eyes, everything i gave to the story. but instead of trying to build another future out of them, the song lets them stay where they belong.
 
and i really like that the final lyrics return to the idea of birth. the album began with "nació", with something being born, and ends after that same love has finally withered.
 
it existed. i made an entire world out of it. and then it ended.
