we live in a world where sharing almost feels mandatory. share the trip, share the relationship, share your face, share your work, share what you ate.... keep posting, keep scrolling, keep the dopamine going. share! share! share!
"share! cuz’ nobody cares" plays with that contradiction. platforms want us constantly participating, feeding the machine and keeping the wheel turning.... even though most of what we post disappears almost immediately. the big media already have their stars, the mainstream already has its favorite faces, voices and aesthetics, and most of us are just random players joining the game.
there is something freeing in that too. maybe my voice is weird, maybe i don’t have the mainstream face, fashion or sound.... okay. just share anyway. not because every post is incredibly important, but because making and sharing something can still make you happy.
so the title is both encouragement and a little joke: share! because apparently everything must be shared.... but also share because nobody cares nearly as much as you think they do. do your best, but also.... maybe don’t. you are a human being, not a content machine. post the thing and go live your life.
